Recently we described our preparations for the spring season at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. But the winter season there is still in full swing. We grow much of our winter produce in our own gardens on campus. What we don’t serve at our cafeteria tables, we sell in the market. Some of the healthiest vegetables and fruits are seasonal during the colder months.
While we offer our winter produce at the market, we continue to make updates in preparation for our most booming season at the market, when warmer weather arrives. To assist at the market, Jeff Williams and Mulkey McMichael are spending some time at Rudy’s Happy Patch, where they’ll join market manager Phyllis Bleckley in assisting new and returning customers. "We are excited about our increased staff affiliation with Happy Patch Market," Phyllis notes.
Look for additional changes at the market in the months to come.
