With five greenhouses on campus, pavilions of hanging plants, and, of course, Happy Patch Market, we now have room for our largest number of plants and yard decorations ever. The warm weather has brought out market patrons from throughout the area who come to browse one of the greatest varieties of plants in the region.
Recently, customer Rhiannon McCoy walked through aisles of plant baskets and ferns, where she was heard to exclaim, “I have not seen this plant for years.” She stated her plans to purchase some of her discovered favorites and return for more.
“This is the largest selection of plants that I have ever seen in the Americus area,” she concluded. “I am from Cordele, and there is nothing like this down there.”
We wish all our customers happy market explorations as they find old and new plant varieties at our summer market.
