It’s a special time of year at the Happy Patch Market. Chase Farm Corn is available once again! We’ve been receiving lots of calls from customers who are eager to pick up their first order of the season.
Last week, Mrs. Ellen Chase of Chase Farms in nearby Macon County called to let Stuart Perry know that the corn would be available beginning this week. “Stuart is a great guy, and Happy Patch Market was selected as the only Americus outlet for Chase Farm Corn,” Mrs. Chase explained. “We are excited to help our friend as he helps our family business.”
To fulfill the dreams of local customers, a large truck traveled to the farm to obtain two bins of the regionally famous corn. It will be available at the market for $5 per dozen ears or $2.50 for six ears. After hearing the WISK radio announcement of the corn’s arrival at the market, customers began arriving before the first shipment had even been unloaded.
“I am always eager to offer Chase Farms corn. Mrs. Chase and her family have been good to us, and I want to support our mutual relationship,” Stuart said.
