High Marks Again for Cafeteria Staff
Congratulations to our culinary staff once again for a perfect score from our local health department. For most reviews of our cleanliness and general operations, the kitchen at Perry Wellness center has received superior marks. In recent visits, they have received consistent 100s as their scores.
Recently a representative of the Sumter County Health Department made a visit to the cafeteria and shared, “This is a fun stop. You all do well, and I like to see the improvement in your efforts each time I visit.” A perfect score was once again achieved by our food operation.
As the representative finished his report, he reviewed the critical issues that are checked at a site such as Perry Wellness Center. Stuart Perry summarized: “They must check all possible food contact areas at any state mental health facility. Our trash cans, our dumpster, and all of our kitchen are closely checked. I am thrilled with our continued 100 marks!”
