Planning for SpringSpring has not yet sprung at Perry Wellness Center, but we enjoy the balmy days mixed in with the blustery ones and look forward to the first month of springtime. As he are poised between seasons, we prepare for warmer weather. Spring will be our busiest time at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. We continue to prepare garden beds for spring crops, even as we enjoy the produce that we have harvested from winter beds. We are also making sure our greenhouses are spruced up, our irrigation system is working well, and spring activities planned.

Our spring and summer markets should be the biggest ever, and our educational activities will continue to grow this spring. Until the season is in full swing, we’ll complete our preparations and take time to enjoy the sunny days that let us know that winter is almost over. On such days, we bring out the grill for lunch, or staff and peers enjoy vigorous team sports.

“We welcome the warmer temperatures and blue skies at Perry Wellness Center,” says founder Stuart Perry. “It makes all our days go better. The smell of charcoal-cooked chicken and other foods is a greeting of what is to come in a few weeks.”
