Customer service professionals have a saying: “You can tell if the phone call is received by a person with a smile on their face.” At Perry Wellness Center, we believe you can hear the smile in the voice of the individual who usually answers our phone.
Lillian Mitchell answers each phone call with assurance and a friendly tone. “Thanks for calling Perry Wellness Center. This is Lillian. How may I help you?” This simple greeting is extended to all who call the center. She also has a smile and friendly word for every visitor, peer, and staff member who passes her desk.
“Each time I come in, Lillian has a smile and cheerful greeting,” notes founder and CEO Stuart Perry. “This is important, since she might be the first and only contact someone has with our center. It must make a good appearance.”
Stuart encourages any supporters to drop by the front office or call Lillian and enjoy her friendly customer service. At Lillian’s desk are donation jars for projects such as the summer recreation program and needy kids in Sumter County. Customer service is free – but a donation is always appreciated!
