New Signage Welcomes Summer Market Traffic
If you’ve driven by our campus lately, you may have noticed an improvement at our Rees Park entrance. Our sign for Rudy’s Happy Patch Market has been brightly updated!
Designer and painter Jeff Williams notes, “It was important that we remind local customers and those trying to find Happy Patch Market that we are at a place of color and goodness.” As an avid recycler, Jeff also is proud to report: “I used former signs that could be repainted and then added new graphics.”
With our without updated signage, customers are finding their way to the market. Some days, parking is limited on both the north and south market entrances. One draw is the annual arrival of Chase Farms corn.
Market manager Phyllis Smith is delighted that Happy Patch is the only local vendor for this nationally known corn. “We look forward to our annual early customers who like Chase corn,” she says. “Mrs. Chase and her family have been good to us, and we want to represent them well as the only site in Sumter County to offer their product.”
Our staff and peers are grateful for a busy market and pleased to assure visitors of the quality of produce and service that they have come to expect.
In the photo below, the vividly restored Happy Patch Market sign welcomes customers to a favorite destination for local produce.
