At Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, we are happy to report that a bright orange, rotund V.I.P. is now available to receive visitors during the fall holiday season.

Known as Mr. Kelly Pumpkin (or “Mr. Pumpkin,” for short), the unusually large pumpkin has taken a place of honor among its lesser peers on the market grounds. We are inviting families to stop by and take a picture of the kids with Mr. Pumpkin.

He will be on the grounds until Thanksgiving -- or until he is purchased. Our market is open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The market is located at 302 East Furlow Street, Americus.

Mr. Pumpkin is pictured above with his namesake, Kelly Jansen, our culinary chief – who may have visions of pumpkin pies in the cafeteria dancing in his head!
