Although the local weather can’t seem to decide which season it is representing, peers and staff at Perry Wellness Center are thinking SPRING. Preparations are already underway to till and otherwise prepare the many garden beds on campus, so that they will soon be ready for spring planning.
“We are excited about this coming season, “ says PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry. “I know it is early, but I want to have the first tilling and land clearing underway.”
Early planting will mean earlier fresh spring vegetables for Rudy’s Happy Patch Market customers. Notes Stuart, “We look forward to serving new and repeat customers in our market.” In addition to fresh produce, Stuart reminds visitors that many new product lines are available in the expanded market.
So as we await spring, it’s on with the preparations! In the photo above, Awan Smith directs a tiller in a food plot, assisted by Tyshaun Thomas.
