For the third year, Rudy’s Happy Patch Market is a proud vendor for farm produce from Buchanan Farms. This season, Jim Buchanan of the local family enterprise, has delivered freshly picked zucchini, yellow squash, and tomatoes.

“I have been farming for about 15 years and enjoy delivering fresh vegetables to Happy Patch Market,” Jim Buchanan says. “It seems that the customer base at Happy Patch Market is increasing, and I get to supply more produce!”

In past years, Buchanan Farms has also supplied fresh berries to the market, but the demands of summer crops require more management these days. Whatever is brought to market, however, is greeted with delight by customers, as well as market manager Charles Tanner.

Thanks to Jim Buchanan and Buchanan Farms for being community partners with Perry Wellness Center in providing locally grown, high-quality produce for area customers.
