Area residents who enjoy pizza, pasta, and other fresh fare have made Roman Oven one of the most popular restaurants in Americus. Several years ago, owner Anthony Dragoin discovered the abundance of fresh, well-priced local tomatoes at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. Now, the restaurant purchases a 50# case of freshly picked tomatoes every week.

“We are happy to support Perry Wellness Center,” says restaurant employee Cole Lavender. “They have great produce, and it is a win/win for us.” Roman Oven is located at 1604 East Forsyth Street in Americus.

PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry is pleased to work with Roman Oven and other local establishments on bulk purchases. He notes, “This year may be the best year we have had at Happy Patch since we opened. It has been a challenge to offer fresh inventory for our customers. We offer deals for volume buying, and that seems to move more of our product.”
