Halloween Week has arrived on the campus of Perry Wellness Center. Visitors can spot the signs upon arrival at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, where CEO Stuart Perry and market manager Kelly Jansen have filled every available spot with an array of fall mums and pumpkins in a variety of sizes, colors, and prices.
Halloween Week reminder posters have also been posted around campus for days. As peers and staff enter the main building of the center, they are reminded of the celebrations slated for each day of the week. The festivities include dress-up days, as well as party food and seasonal decorations.
Monday’s theme is “Favorite Color,” which each member is asked to wear. On Tuesday, individuals will don unusual headwear for “Crazy Hat Day.” On Wednesday – Halloween Day, peers and staff will share their creative costumes. Thursday is a day to relive the 1960s with tie dye garments, and the week closes with everyone donning their favorite animal costume.
“We want to allow our peers and neighbors to welcome the fall and Halloween with excitement,” Stuart says. It promises to be a fun and colorful week at Perry Wellness Center!
