Earlier this week, we told our readers about one special Christmas activity of Perry Wellness Center this season. We are delivering Christmas fir trees to several local organizations that have provided support to the center as well as the larger community.
Our first delivery was to the Americus Police Department. Next, we delivered an eight-foot Douglas fir to Sumter County fire and Rescue. A group of representatives from the department helped unload the large tree, as Executive Assistant Hope Griggs, showed the chosen site to place the Christmas tree.
“We do thank Stuart Perry and Perry Wellness Center for this tree,” Ms. Griggs said. “It will make our department brighter!”
