Mobile Market at Rural America FestivalWho doesn’t enjoy a good fall festival? Representatives from Perry Wellness Center recently attended the annual Rural America Festival in downtown Buena Vista, Georgia on October 12.

The city and sponsoring Beautiful Garden Club worked hard to spruce up the town, removing debris and decorating downtown planter boxes with seasonal color. Over 80 spaces were filled with a variety of area vendors, including the Buena Vista Lions Club, which served its champion barbecue plates.

“We were down to some barbecue on end slices of break with a pickle!” Lions Club member Burton Wright said with a laugh, after the last plate sold out.

Another popular vendor was the Mobile Market from our own Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. For those who stopped by, it offered garden mums, pumpkins of every variety, and servings from a pot of boiling peanuts.

What a fun fall day for everyone!
