Last night, the historic district of Americus enjoyed the bright lights and holiday cheer of Perry Wellness Center’s annual Christmas open house. Cheer Up the Blues drew area families and children, who braved the cold weather to meet visit with Santa and a host of Disney characters. Many admired the award-winning float with its theme of Disney Christmas Magic, while others huddled in the covered market area and sipped hot chocolate
