As the coronavirus outbreak broadens into a worldwide pandemic, Perry Wellness Center is trying to do its part to increase education about preventing the spread of the disease. Informational posters have been posted throughout all restrooms and by each door. On one side of the poster is information about preventive steps. These include:

Frequent hand washing

Avoidance of face touching

Covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze

Avoidance of close encounters with others

Getting a flu shot

Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects such as personal cellphones. 

Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry states, “We are keenly aware of the severity of this disease. Our staff associates are gathering all information to share with our peer population during groups. We are sharing protective information both in displayed and verbal form. We are doing what we can to prevent spreading of the disease.”
