With the re-opening of Rudy’s Happy Patch Market at Perry Wellness Center, local customers have been making requests for new merchandise. This week, the market received a seed catalog from one customer to help honor his and others’ requests.
Explains market staff member Jamie Minich, “A customer visited Happy Patch last week and said that he would like for us to have herbs and spices. I told him that we did not have a current seed catalog. He offered to bring me one and delivered it this week. These seeds may be planted down here at Happy Patch Market or at Sr. John’s [the local Anglican Church that provides planting beds for PWC peers]. We will see about the hot weather and watering!”
When the package arrived, Jamie (tearing into the catalog order packet, above) was eager to start her herb and spice orders.
We think it’s going to be a spicy summer at the market!
