For this last day of September, we thought we’d feature our favorite plants and favorite fruit (or vegetable, depending upon your preference) of fall. 

At Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, both interior and exterior spaces are filled with pots of mums and a variety of pumpkins in every color of fall, replacing the dwindling summer inventory. 

Market manager Debbie Bissallion reports. “We might have five different colors of mums in various sizes and degrees of fullness. We want to help Americus and our other Southwest Georgia towns show the colors of fall.”
