As we frequently remind our readers, the unofficial slogan for Rudy’s Happy Patch Market is “Customers will leave with a smile.” This year has presented a challenge to that promise, as health, political, and social concerns have brought more frowns to people’s faces.

But the staff and peers of Perry Wellness Center are committed to making its community outreach hub a place of color, cheeriness, and smiles. From cheery clerks to striking décor to the best locally grown produce, Happy Patch continues to earn its name.

Now that Christmas is almost here, an eight-foot Frazier fir greets customers at the southern parking lot entrance. Its boughs are draped with tinsel and twinkling lights. Nearby, a sign boasts an upcoming appearance of Santa Claus – stay tuned for more on that! The construction of the market’s popular fresh evergreen wreaths leaves a wonderful scent in the air.

PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry invites customers and visitors to enjoy the holiday market. “We have a goal for our customers and visitors to enjoy each visit to our market,” he says. “It is important that people smile and enjoy the decorations and the scent of freshly cut trees. Come and enjoy the area!”
