As the spring inventory grows at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, staff increase their focus on plant health, including regular watering. Spring and summer months naturally require more attention to plant management and placement. For example, the open front on the southwest side of the market can make for extremely dry conditions on warm days.
Kaitlyn Durham is the newest staff member at Happy Patch and offers some thoughts on plant management: “We have grouped plants together, but we now must water them to prevent leaf drop or dying. We all share the mission to keep them looking great.”
In the photo above, Kaitlyn waters all the plants in the southwest open market sunshine.
