Last week, we told you of Jamie Minich’s efforts to find a good selection of mums for fall display at sales at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. We’re happy to report that her weekend excursion was successful. Jamie discovered a full color assortment at area vendors and placed several orders.
Her orders have already been delivered and are currently on display. The bright mums stand out on the tables and commerce stands placed inside and outside the market. Their autumnal colors are a reminder of eagerly awaited fall days.
“I had a great time shopping for these mums,” Jamie says. “I found so many colors that it was difficult not to overbuy. Stuart Perry, my boss, likes fall colors and mums. I had to buy carefully in this early season.” She notes that Stuart’s father’s gas station sold fall plants from the family greenhouse during his boyhood.
In the photo above, mums of various colors are displayed on the east side of Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, ready for early customer selection.
