As we head into the July 4th weekend, we’re in a mood for celebration at Perry Wellness Center. One thing we found to celebrate this week was the arrival of 798 pounds (!) of tomatoes from Buchanan Farms. Rudy’s Happy Patch Market was happy to see the appearance of Jim Buchanan. He also brought eggplants and bell peppers that will have summer cooks swooning.
“I have brought over 2300 pounds of produce in my most recent deliveries,” Buchanan confirmed. “The hot weather has been tough on my crop this year, but I try and bring the best to Happy Patch. You’re a great outlet for my vegetables, and I thank you.”
