As part of Spirit Week at Perry Wellness Center, peers and staff have been enjoying hearty meals and refreshments. Thursday was one example, when a festive holiday buffet was served for lunch. The meal including fried and sauced chicken drumettes, baked beans, hamburger cheese casserole, chocolate dipped pretzels, and grape drinks.
“It was a fun time, and we made sure that all of the food was taken, either here or in a to-go plate,” PWC founder and director Stuart Perry says. “I know that many of our clients do not have three meals each day, but we serve a hearty breakfast and a good and healthy lunch. I like to have enough food to remind us all of how blessed we are.”
Thanks to the staff planners who did a great job in planning and serving the meal to peers and staff.
