Since her teenage years, peer Nakia Rhone has participated in life improvement training and activities to better her life. Now at Perry Wellness Center, she serves as the lead staff member for the operation of Rudy’s Happy Patch Market.

“I try to share a smile and greeting at Happy Patch,” Nakia says. But she keeps busy when not waiting on customers, working on a variety of creative projects.

“I like to quilt, crochet, and make gifts and useful things for friends,” Nakia explains
