New Market CounterIt’s not your imagination if you think that Perry Wellness Center is constantly making changes, both in its classrooms and its market. PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry seeks out improvements and listens to recommendations from both inspectors and visitors.

“We have to please all of our licensing boards and hear the ideas of our customers,” lead market cashier Nakia Rhone explains. “We are going to have more display space behind the front counter now, so that our displays will meet state specifications for sanitary conditions. We listen and do the best we can.”

Although changes may take effort and adjustment, Nakia is happy to be part of the process. She says, “I like the changes in the layout of Happy Patch. We have room to spread out with our produce displays, and we will begin to offer more and even safer products for our customers.”
