Recently, Stuart Perry combined his love of family, church, and flowers in a special way. The busy founder and director of Perry Wellness Center enjoys activities with family, friends, and fellow churchgoers, and observes a common tradition of giving floral memorial offerings on behalf of loved ones. Most recently, he made a pilgrimage to his former church in his hometown of Buena Vista. He arrived with huge mum plants from Rudy’s Happy Patch Market to leave in memory of his late father.

“Buena Vista United Methodist Church has been special in the lives of our family,” Stuart explains. “I want to keep the memory of my father alive and donate flowers in the fall. Our mums have been spectacular, and I wanted to use them for that annual offering.” He looks forward to attending a church service or fellowship supper in the future.
