It was a dreary Monday when the day began at Perry Wellness Center. The mood was quickly raised when peer leaders reported on the outpouring of support for a friend in downtown Americus. Their family had lost almost everything in a fire. We’ll let peer leader Sherry Robinson report on what happened next:

“When I learned of the loss from the family of one affected friend, I made contact with peers at Perry Wellness Center. In only days, we had collected products for the home, money, and a promise from Stuart Perry that we would be totally involved in the restoration of the fire-stricken family. I am sure that Perry Wellness Center can and will do more.”
