Sweet ShopAt Perry Wellness Center, we frequently make needed changes in order to avoid larger disruption. PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry says he doesn’t like change any more than most people, but he is practical. He will always try to find a way to avoid changes in routine if there is an alternative, but he is willing to do what must be done to keep the center and Rudy’s Happy Patch Market productive. He cites a recent example:

“The south end of Happy Patch was too cold for our peers and for commerce. We first built a plastic market area for Nakia for the colder months. It did not work well, so we moved the entire produce line, without plants, down to the lobby of the old classroom and office building. When we get the 2024 market filled with inventory for the new season, we will move the products back up the hill our seasonal plants.”

The product line that was moved was “Sweets Shop” food items. Even though foot traffic has increased in the affected building, peers and staff are pleased to have a variety of goodies and beverages available in a comfortable setting.
