June Market VisitorsThis Monday, temperatures in the area rose as high as the 90s, but the heat did not stop the flow of visitors to Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. Two of the big draws for market visitors were the numerous fresh tomatoes and the arrival of Chase Farms corn. These standing favorites combined with new products to satisfy eager buyers.

Perry Wellness Center founder and director Stuart Perry stopped by the market to welcome the influx of visitors with his usual cheery greeting and smile. He established the farm-to-table market in the early days of PWC. Since then, the market has fulfilled his wish for an outreach program that would help draw attention to mental health awareness, provide a beneficial service in the community, and raise funds to help support the operations of the non-profit center.
