Move over, bridge, canasta, spades -- there’s a new card game in town: TONK. It has quickly become the game of choice for peers during break times at Perry Wellness Center. After Rhonda discovered the game and its rules online, she shared this information with others, and the game caught on.

Tonk -- or “Tunk,” as it is also called -- is a matching card game that is somewhat similar to an old favorite, gin rummy. For readers interested in finding out more, just Google “Tonk” -- there’s lots of info available.

In the photo above, peers Eric Monts and Rhonda Hubbard deal another hand of Tonk. Rhonda confides that she always seems to win whenever she plays the game. Sounds like someone has been studying up!
