At Perry Wellness Center, peers enjoy keeping their minds nimble with a variety of puzzles and games. One peer, Mary Green, prides herself on completing word puzzle books. She enjoys completing books on specific topics and is currently working her way through a Bible series.

“It is fun to complete another book of word identification,” Mary explains. “I have completed three books and have two more that I work on at home. I think that the word learning by topic is a good way to design the books. I guess some are more difficult than others. I want to complete the series.”

After settling down in a comfortable seat in a well-lighted area in the new classroom building, Mary is likely to be found continuing her Biblical word discovery.
