On Saturday, April 5, Perry Wellness Center held its second annual Art Show and Fundraiser on the grounds of the center and Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. The show was a success, with a great turnout and beautiful peer artwork for display and sale.

Sheila Bodrey, Financial/ General Manager, coordinated the event. After Friday night and Saturday morning setup, the event began at 10:00 a.m. The theme was “Mental Health and Butterflies.” As pictured in the photos, giant and colorful wings were displayed by several peers at the event. Special thanks to Phyllis Smith, for providing art instruction for peers displaying their creative work.

Refreshments and garden walks were also available for visitors. The event ended at 2:00 p.m., and we are already looking forward to next year’s event.
