At Perry Wellness Center, more and more peers have discovered the relaxing fun of completing jigsaw puzzles. Months ago, a small group of decorative puzzles were completed. As the request for larger puzzles grew, Stuart Perry and other PWC staff began to purchase more puzzles. They are now framed and decorate walls in the new classroom building – a tribute to the dedicated efforts of peer clients.
Often, several individuals jointly undertake a puzzle. This simple act can promote cooperation and help people socialize more comfortably. In the photo, peers Debra Clayton and Carrie Cruz collaborate on a puzzle.
