Jeff Williams Recognized for Community Contributions
You often hear us mention Jeff Williams on the blog, as he serves as our creative director for a lot of the projects that make our campus so colorful and inspiring. From painted fountains to gazebos with inspirational messages, Jeff uses his artistic talents to inspire the creativity of both peers and staff at Perry Wellness Center.
Many of you may not know, however, that Jeff is an accomplished artist in his own right. His work has been displayed at the famed Louvre in Paris, and his original artwork was used as the official poster for the 2009 Kentucky Derby. Most recently, Jeff has been asked to design a donor room in the High Museum in Atlanta. The museum’s striking design makes it one of the country’s most praised. Now this South Georgia native will now bring his own creative touch to the famed museum.
Recently Jeff was recognized by WALB-TV in Albany as one of its “People Who Make a Difference.” In the news story, Jeff spoke of the pleasure he receives in working at Perry Wellness Center. We just hope he knows that he gives us just as much!
