Holidays are a special time at Perry Wellness Center. We love to celebrate each holiday with visual displays, costumes, or special meals. And the 4th of July is no exception!
Approximately two weeks ago, a volunteer group of Perry Wellness Center peers began to arrange the purchase of festive decorations for celebrating July 4. Red, white, and blue decorations now are on display at Happy Patch Market, while others are proudly worn by peers.
Rhonda Hubbard took a leadership role in promoting the holiday atmosphere. Noted for her customer attention, Rhonda is always happy to greet campus guests, including former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, with whom Rhonda feels she has developed “a unique friendship.”
During this holiday week, Rhonda has dressed for the occasion. “I like July 4th and love to dress up for the holiday. It is fun,” she explains with a smile.

Whether you dress up or just take it easy, Perry Wellness Center wishes each of you a happy and safe July 4th weekend!
