Kenneth Christmas, a peer at Perry Wellness center, is known as a master cook. He has previously worked in food production at several name establishments throughout Georgia. Now he demonstrates his expertise in the campus cafeteria. Kenneth prides himself on his menu planning and the delivery of tasty foods.
During the recent July 4th celebrations, two Boston butt roasts were slowly cooked on the charcoal grill. At the same time, our market was flooded with business as customers prepared for the holiday. While it was difficult to have any one peer monitor the cooking of these meats, Kenneth was ready to do his part.
“I love to cook pork on July 4th,” he explained. “I walked by and smelled these butts and took time to check them and turn them as necessary.” At the time he didn’t know when the roasts would be served, but he laughed and said, “I hope I get invited to join!”
Thanks to Kenneth for his dedication and skills, as well as his can-do attitude!
