Peas marketingWith the continued demand for shelled butter beans and peas, Perry Wellness Center founder Stuart Perry has begun plans to mass market bags of this fresh produce.

“I want citizens in surrounding areas to enjoy the same peas and butter beans that our current and growing customer base seems to enjoy,” Stuart recently explained. “We will be sharing photos of the bagged vegetables along with wholesale prices with small-town vendors in our eight-county client service area in Southwest Georgia.”

Stuart went on to describe the marketing process further: “A custom designed and printed label will be affixed to each shelled bag. On the label will be the variety of the peas and butter beans, along with the weight and vendor-generated retail price. The label will have the Perry Wellness center logo and website information.” The label will also include government regulation and product preparation information.

Staff member Phyllis Smith welcomes the new outreach, saying, “Such product marketing is new for Happy Patch Market. We want this season to be a test run for our products.”
