The recent re-opening of Rudy’s Happy Patch Market is a harbinger of spring, as much as the robins dotting area lawns. To celebrate, we have been stocking the market with ferns, daisies and other spring plants, as well as colorful hanging baskets.
“Our peers are eager to resume work and outside chores,” notes Stuart Perry. “We survived the harshest winter but celebrate the sun and warmer temperatures.”
Display tables are filling up with spring produce, awaiting early bird customers at the market.
In the above photo, Jerie Burton and Vicki Lamica shape plants which are on display in the Perry Wellness Center greenhouses.
