Cooler Weather Raises Holiday Spirits
The Christmas season just isn’t the same without cold weather. Mother Nature is glad to oblige this year, as cooler temperatures have moved into South Georgia. After some much needed rain last week, the area is enjoying crisp holiday weather.
Perry Wellness Center peer and staff are definitely in the holiday spirit. Everyone is still savoring the 1st place win in the recent downtown Americus Christmas parade and busy placing the final touches on holiday decorations. Outdoor activities are tended to in coats and gloves with no complaints. At Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, the brightly decorated store bustles with visitors looking for the perfect items for their holiday menus or home décor.
“All of us in Happy Patch Market invite customers to visit and see our growing line of products,” says Phyllis Smith. “It is winter, but our produce and shrubs are still available.”
