January is Substance Use Disorder Treatment Month. Throughout the month, Perry Wellness Center is sharing information from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) 2026 digital toolkit.
This week’s topic is wraparound services. For individuals recovering from substance use disorders, a treatment environment may include employment, legal, housing, employment, and other community supports, These services can be utilized in addition to traditional medical care. Here are some options to consider:
“Recovery is more than sobriety. It’s rebuilding your future. While seeking treatment, education & job-support services can help you gain meaning and independence.” #FindYourPath
“Recovery housing offers a substance-free home and community in a safe, supportive environment.” #SoberLiving
“Meaningful work can restore purpose and confidence. Job training and employment support help people rebuild their future.” #RecoveryAtWork
“Parenting classes, childcare, and family programs strengthen connection and stability during treatment and recovery. Families heal together.” #FamilyRecovery
